How to make Gold in World of Warcraft

Are you new to the World of Warcraft, or have you created a brand new character and want to make gold quickly?  Here are some great ways to make gold:

*Gathering Profession-Take two gathering professions.  This not only allows you to make money from two sets of gathered materials, it also frees you from having to use any materials to produce goods. In most cases, the materials (ore, herbs, raw fish, cloth, leather) sell for more than the goods that are made from them.

*Crafting Profession-The Enchanting profession is the most profitable, but any crafting profession will do so you can sell your wares.

*Use the Auction House-Unload gear you no longer need or use

*Save! Instead of upgrading your gear every level, wait to upgrade every 5 or 10 levels

*Roll-Sell equipment you no longer use

*Go on Quests-You will earn money when you complete your quest and sometimes you get an reward (which you can keep or sell)

*Find Crafters-Crafters such as blacksmiths, enchanters and leather-workers will offer to make items for free if you provide the material, and then you can mark up the price and sell them in the auction house.

*Pick up a Trade Skill-Choose one of the creation/gathering combinations like herbalism and alchemy, or do two gathering professions and sell what you get to the other players.  Skinning, mining and herbalism sold through the Auction House can be very profitable.  You can click on each item on the site and see where it’s Auction House prices are listed as and concentrate on those items with the highest prices, then gather the ingredients yourself. This may mean devoting a couple hours a week to just running around and finding herbs or ores, but it is worth it over buying raw ingredients from other players. Use the object maps to see which zones have the most spawn points for what you need to gather and then milk that zone in the game’s off hours if possible.

*Quest Solo-These quests are harder than group quests, however you will get a higher reward.

*Grind-Find a spot with mobs who can be pulled over one at a time to kill them.  Stay until you fill your bags and you will earn gold.  If you can find a camp of humanoids that is the best because they tend to drop money as well as items when they are killed.

*Fish-Sometimes it takes awhile to fish, however it is a great source of income.

*Use Raid Groups-They will help you collect gear so you don’t have to buy new gear.

*Train-You can train to get skills or spells so that you will not have to purchase equipment later on.

*Sell Vendor Trash-Some vendors discard items that you can find and then sell yourself

*Auto-Profit-If you ever have room in your bag, fill it, particularly with discarded weapons.

*Buy Vendor Items For Resale-You can buy items that you can then sell again at the auction house for significant markup.

How to play humans in Warcraft 3

The World Of Warcraft Game is about Humans VS. Orcs, and although the World of Warcraft III has introduced some other races, the humanoids are the original characters of the game and have even been upgraded with  new Heroes, units and powerful abilities.

There are different units of humans, including

*peasant
*militia
*footmen
*riflemen
*knight
*priest
*sorceress
*spell breaker
*mortar team
*gryphon rider
*dragonhawk rider
*water elemental
*phoenix

You can find a list of unit stats here:

http://classic.battle.net/war3/human/unitstats.shtml

Then there are the heroes:

*Paladin
*Archmage
*Mountain King
*Blood Mage

And the different areas in a human town:

*town hall
*barracks
*arcane sanctum
*workshop
*Gryphon aviary
*summonable

To play humans, you must first start by creating a human town:

*Build a town hall-this is where you can announce the “Call To Arms” to get everyone back to the town if there is a battle

*Send your peasants to mine gold and chop wood and then when you’ve reached capacity, you can go on to build more farms.

*Build a lumber mill and start building barracks for future battles.

*Get a blacksmith so they can help you create weapons

*Build Towers for future battles

Playing the Game:

Humans can get magic powers, for example:

*Teleporting-You can send whole groups of troops at once in order to drop a full compliment of siege engines into an opponent’s town or rush your army back home to help defend your town.
*Clarity Potion-This potion will let your hero run away and then use clarity to return.  You can also keep your hero in the back away from combat and use clarity during combat.
*The Priest & Sorceress- These units are very important to the human race-use them along with your army to win battles.

Using the three Human Heroes can be a powerful strategy if you are skilled enough to do so.  Paladin can use Holy Light to heal other Heroes and increase the hero’s armor while Archmage can teleport the other heroes around.  The Mountain King can use his thunder clap that will stun anyone who is close by.

Humans have a great advantage in Warcraft III because they have several abilities other races do not possess, including:

*Slow-Humans can decrease the enemy’s offensive and defensive capabilities before an assault
*Inner Fire & Devotion Aura-Allows humans to improve their troops attack and defense capabilities even when outnumbered
*Better Defense Mode-Human footmen have a more powerful defense presence

Humans are also:

*Easy to manage & upgrade
*Can build towers which are a powerful defense
*Can use tanks which causes death to all enemy structures
*Can have multiple peasants working on a building at the same time which allows for quicker hero/tower rushes
*Human building armor and hit points can be upgraded

Humans do have various enemies, the Orcs, the Night Elves and the Undead.  You can:

*Kill Orcs by outmaneuvering, outsmarting, and outwitting their forces. Use defensive measures to counter their offensive abilities. Avoid fighting them one-on-one and turn the odds against them by stunning, morphing, and summoning units before attacking them and while defending against them.
*Kill Night Elves by taking advantage of the inexpensive footmen that can be used to outnumber Dryads, which lessens the effect of their Slow Poison ability. You might also consider using Riflemen, which have a much higher attack than Dyrads, to kill them from afar.
*Defeat the Undead ( use ghouls, abominations, and necromacers) byemploying high hit point knights and using “Inner Fire”, “Devotion Aura”, and “Healing”. Your Paladin’s Holy light is also helpful because it can heal your units or hurt them. Also bring in a few mortar teams in the back to bring some mega AoE hurt on those fools. Just be careful and try to keep your units alive and dont give the Undead your corpses at all costs!
